Office Wi-Fi and Network Reliability Review

Find out whether the problem is coverage, radio conditions, the wired network or the provider before adding another access point.

You may recognize this

Start with what is happening

An Internet speed test looks fine, but calls fail in one meeting room.

A workstation works on a cable while the same task becomes unreliable over Wi-Fi.

Devices hold on to the wrong access point as people move through the office.

Another access point was added without fixing the warehouse or office problem.

Why it matters

A decision you can explain

Internet speed does not describe Wi-Fi quality. A dead zone may involve radio conditions, cabling, a switch, DNS or one type of device — not simply too few access points.

Examples

  • The meeting room loses voice and video while wired workstations remain stable.
  • Guest Wi-Fi is slow or mixed with the business network.
  • Signal looks strong beside an access point, but moving between areas causes a drop.
  • The problem appears only at certain times, with certain devices or when the space is full.

Review scope

What the agreed review examines

  • The rooms, times and work affected before a remedy is chosen.
  • Signal, channel use and radio interference — what technicians may call the RF environment.
  • Access points, cabling, switches, VLANs, DHCP and DNS connecting Wi-Fi to the rest of the network.
  • Whether the cause is coverage, capacity, the wired network, the provider or an endpoint.

Customer receives

Useful next steps

  • A reading by area, device and time rather than a conclusion from one speed test.
  • Likely causes and unknowns that require measurement or additional access.
  • Proportionate options: correct configuration, improve cabling, move an access point or plan a radio survey.
  • A clear decision before buying more equipment.

Scope clarity

What is included and what may be added

Included

  • A conversation about the symptoms, areas and work that matter to the business.
  • A review of equipment and available evidence within the approved scope.
  • Onsite or remote tests when scope and access allow the causes to be separated.

Additional work

  • A full radio survey, cabling, equipment replacement and installation.
  • Firewall, DHCP, DNS, segmentation or provider changes when diagnosis supports them.
  • Work in an occupied office or warehouse where access and operating constraints require planning.

Scope, deliverables, and pricing are confirmed before work begins. Additional work requires approval.

Setup and onboarding

Preparation is part of the work

We confirm the scope, evidence, customer responsibilities and any licences or third-party costs before changes are considered.

Customer responsibilities

  • Describe the rooms, devices, times and applications affected.
  • Authorize access to the site, equipment and people who can reproduce the problem.
  • Confirm security, production and change constraints before work begins.
