About Montreal IT

Clear IT decisions, backed by experience.

Montreal IT is the bilingual business-services identity of Ordinateurs Unitech Computers. Since 1988, UNITECH has helped Quebec organizations keep technology useful, understandable and accountable.

Who we are

One service identity. An established company behind it.

Montreal IT is UNITECH’s Montreal-focused, bilingual business IT identity. The same UNITECH team is responsible for the people, systems and work behind the service, so the conversation stays grounded in your organization’s actual environment and priorities.

Senior judgment when consequences matter

Routine work should be dependable. When a request becomes a security, recovery, architecture or business-interruption decision, the right person should be available to explain the options and the next step.

Ownership that remains understandable

Access, responsibilities, priorities and important changes should be documented well enough that your organization can understand its own environment. Good documentation gives the team something useful to work from when a person, vendor or priority changes.

Practical sequencing

We separate urgent conditions from important improvements and work that can be planned, so everything is not presented as the same emergency.

Clear fit and boundaries

A useful relationship starts with an honest view of scope, responsibilities, dependencies and what should be handled separately.

Connected capabilities

Technology should support the operating day as one system.

Managed and co-managed IT, Microsoft 365 and security, backup and recovery, infrastructure, projects and independent assessments affect one another. We keep those decisions connected instead of treating every platform as a separate sale.

Managed and co-managed IT

Ongoing operational coverage or senior capacity alongside an internal lead, with clearer escalation and accountability.

Microsoft 365 and security

Identity, access, devices, sharing, licensing and security decisions connected to the way the organization actually works.

Backup and recovery

Protection, restore testing, recovery dependencies and practical planning for systems the organization depends on.

Networks, servers and cloud

Infrastructure work shaped around reliability, supportability, lifecycle and the people who must operate it.

Projects and transitions

Provider changes, migrations, remediation and modernization delivered with a bounded plan and a usable handoff.

Independent assessments

Focused reviews that clarify evidence, risk, options and next steps without pretending to be legal certification or a guarantee.

Continuity and place

Local, bilingual and accountable since 1988.

Technology has changed repeatedly since 1988. UNITECH’s role has remained consistent: help organizations understand their environment, keep essential systems dependable and reach experienced support in French or English.

BASED IN MONTRÉAL

Based in Montréal. Close to the businesses we support.

UNITECH has operated in Montréal since 1988. Our physical base is in Pierrefonds-Roxboro, on the West Island, so onsite work remains practical when the room, equipment or project needs direct attention. Much of day-to-day troubleshooting, Microsoft 365 administration and IT support can also be handled remotely when that is the better fit.

West Island

Pierrefonds-Roxboro and Pointe-Claire are part of the local context around our base.

Airport / Saint-Laurent corridor

Dorval, Saint-Laurent and Technoparc Montréal connect offices, technology and industrial activity across the island.

Western Montréal

Lachine and the western industrial corridor are close enough that an onsite decision can remain grounded in the actual environment.
